SADA-WARDIP Cyber Skilling Program – Senior Leadership Policy Training
The SADA-WARDIP Cyber Skilling Program – Senior Leadership Policy Training is a four-day executive capacity-building programme designed for technical cybersecurity leaders at the Director level, including representatives from National Cybersecurity Authorities, CERTs/CSIRTs, and Chief Information Security Officers (CISOs) across Africa.
The programme is jointly organized by the Smart Africa Secretariat, through the Smart Africa Digital Academy (SADA), in partnership with the World Bank, under the Digital Transformation for Africa (DTfA) – West Africa Regional Digital Integration Programme (WARDIP) SOP-1. It will be held on the sidelines of the Regional Cyber Week in Rabat, Morocco, providing participants with an opportunity to engage with regional experts, exchange experiences, and contribute to high-level discussions on Africa’s cybersecurity priorities.
The training will cover key topics including cybersecurity policy and regulatory frameworks, risk-informed policymaking and governance, critical information infrastructure protection and compliance oversight, and incident response governance and regional coordination.
By the end of the programme, participants will have strengthened their ability to design, implement, and coordinate effective cybersecurity policies, regulations, and governance frameworks, contributing to stronger national and regional cyber resilience.
