About this course
This course is a two part continental webinar series jointly delivered by the Smart Africa Digital Academy (SADA), under the World Bank funded WARDIP SOP1 initiative, and the Kenya School of Government (KSG).
The series focuses on two foundational enablers of Africa's digital transformation: effective data governance and institutional cybersecurity readiness. It is designed to equip policymakers, regulators, senior public officials and digital transformation practitioners with the knowledge and practical approaches required to build trusted, secure, inclusive and interoperable digital government.
The two part series follows a progressive learning pathway:
- Data Governance: Establishing trusted data ecosystems that promote data quality, privacy, security, interoperability, accountability and responsible data sharing.
- Cybersecurity Readiness: Strengthening institutional preparedness, protecting Digital Public Infrastructure and essential services, and embedding cyber resilience into digital government programmes.
